Mechanical Construction Project Manager

$130K – $160K Base Salary + Full Benefits + Bonus Opportunities A leading mechanical contractor is actively seeking an experienced Piping Project Manager to support large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Charlotte market. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization with a strong backlog of work across advanced manufacturing, healthcare, mission‑critical, industrial, and large commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background managing piping scopes from preconstruction through closeout while leading field teams, subcontractors, schedules, procurement, and client relationships. Responsibilities Manage piping construction projects from kickoff through completion Oversee project financials including budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and change management Coordinate piping fabrication, procurement, scheduling, and installation activities Work closely with field leadership, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors Lead project meetings with clients, vendors, and internal teams Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget Review drawings, specifications, and constructability throughout the project lifecycle Support manpower planning and coordination with operations leadership Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business Qualifications 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction project management Strong background managing piping projects within commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, mission-critical, or data center environments Experience with process piping, hydronics, chilled water, steam, medical gas, or industrial piping systems preferred Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and construction operations Excellent communication and leadership skills Experience with design-build or design-assist projects is a plus Performance Bonus Opportunities 401(k) with Company Match Vehicle Allowance or Company Vehicle PTO & Paid Holidays If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, apply directly or reach out confidentially to discuss the role in greater detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr Diamond Peak Recruiting
