Are you an experienced Certified Public Accountant looking for an opportunity to apply your expertise, take ownership of your work, and make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and knowledgeable CPA with at least 5 years of professional experience to join our team on a full-time basis.

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, as relevant to the role.
• Assist with tax preparation, tax planning, and regulatory filings, if applicable.
• Reconcile accounts, review financial data, and identify discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial information and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with management, clients, and team members on accounting and financial matters.

What We’re Looking For

• Active CPA license. EA license may be considered for the right qualified candidate.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Experience: 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA License: Required
• Location: Sarasota, Florida
• Work Arrangement: On-site, Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Starting Compensation Range: $75,000 - $90,000 (exempt)
