Position Overview
Healthcare and Emergency Solutions is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight for all medical services within the correctional facility. This role ensures high‑quality care delivery, provider performance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and administrative oversight of medical services
- Develop, implement, and enforce clinical policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with NCCHC, ACA, and state healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, and administrative leadership
- Provide direct patient care as operational needs require
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Florida medical license
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated healthcare leadership or administrative experience
