Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $85,000 to $95,000 per year. Responsibilities Lead period close activities and ensure financial records are completed accurately and on time. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to support balanced books. Maintain general ledger accuracy and support compliance with applicable accounting standards. Analyze financial results and provide clear explanations for variances and key trends. Partner with internal teams to support planning efforts and identify opportunities to improve processes. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment. Strong working knowledge of accounting standards and month end close procedures. Previous experience using enterprise accounting systems with exposure to Great Plains. Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reconciliation, and reporting. Qualifications Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across teams.
