Customer Service Specialist

Our client, a leader in the FinTech industry is seeking a Customer Escalations Specialist. This is a hybrid position that will be onsite 3x per week in San Diego, CA.

*This a 1-year W2 contract with benefits & paid holidays!*

As a Customer Escalations Specialist, you will provide front-line, escalated support for B2B clients and customers, ensure that customers are satisfied with products, services, and features.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage 10-15 escalated customer issues via phone, email, text, and chat , ensuring timely and professional responses and accurately routing interested parties to appropriate departments
• Develop in-depth knowledge of products, services, etc. and effectively convey information to customers
• Leverage de-escalation techniques to drive timely issue resolutions
• Create and maintain customer records within CRM platforms while ensuring data accuracy and completeness

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 2+ years of experience working in a customer service, contact center, or client support environment, with recent experience supporting escalated calls
• Prior experience using Salesforce, Claude, ChatGPT, and Slack
• Prior experience in financial services, SaaS, or FinTech industries a plus!
