In this role, you’ll operate on-site at an elementary campus and become an essential member of the preschool arena testing team. You’ll partner with one speech-language pathologist and two diagnosticians as you participate in evaluations for children turning three, with a special emphasis on autism assessments. The caseload consists of targeted, specialized evaluations rather than ongoing case management, focusing your skills where they matter most.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist licensure/certification
• Experience with early childhood assessments strongly preferred
• Familiarity with arena evaluations and autism spectrum evaluations
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• No CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification required for this assignment

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments for preschool-age children participating in arena evaluations
• Participate in collaborative team meetings, contributing insight to eligibility and service decisions
• Interpret test results and prepare clear, concise reports
• Communicate effectively with team members and families regarding assessment findings and recommendations
• Start date flexibility between August 10 and 17 for the upcoming school year
• Work approximately 14-15 hours each week on site
