IT Field Technician

BEARtechs is seeking computer hardware and low voltage cabling techs to service businesses in the Miami, Florida area.

BEARtechs provides on site IT services to businesses in Saint Louis and the surrounding area. We specialize in multi-site and chain businesses by leveraging our relationships with national service providers and manufacturers. Our clients are medical offices and hospitals, retail chain businesses, distribution centers and warehouses, car dealerships, and financial institutions. The type of service we provide includes: break/fix repairs and replacements, equipment moves-adds-changes, new store installs and remodels, low-voltage cabling and repairs, multi-site project rollouts, and implementations. We are a fast growing company that is willing to train smart and technical individuals who are motivated to maximize their earning potential with the potential of earning 65-100k a year.

Field Technician job responsibilities:

• professional customer service
• communicate with the on site contact as well as remote stakeholders
• detailed documentation of work
• timely delivery of service
• network and hardware technical troubleshooting
• low-voltage cabling and terminations
• computer hardware repair
• computer hardware replacement and upgrades
• new installs and projects
• printer maintenance and repair
• camera systems
• digital signage

Field Technician job requirements:

• some college coursework completed
• low-voltage/wiring experience is preferred
• computer hardware training or experience (A+ certification or equivalent)
• Android or other smartphone with a camera
• detail-oriented and organized
• self-motivated
• desire to learn
• passionate about technology
• valid driver’s license
• reliable transportation (wagon, SUV, or van is a plus)
• must be able to pass a background check

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
