About the Position

Job Title: Dialysis Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Dialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours (05:30 AM - 10:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required in Dialysis, including Charge Nurse experience. License: Client License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Charge Nurse experience required. Outpatient chronic and acute experience required. Description: The position requires a registered nurse specializing in dialysis. This role involves working in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care. The nurse will be required to float to various dialysis locations as necessary. The candidate should possess skills in chronic outpatient dialysis and administration of blood and blood products. Experience with dialysis machinery, including cannulation techniques, is essential. The nurse must have knowledge of infection control and emergency procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring patients for various complications such as fluid overload and hypotension. Strong assessment skills and the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias are critical for this position. The role will involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. Candidates should be adaptable and able to handle a fast-paced environment. Weekend coverage may be required, with expectations of rotating shifts. A strong commitment to patient safety and quality care is essential. This position may involve overseeing a team and managing patient care within a charge nurse capacity. All applicants must demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Candidates with prior charge experience in a dialysis setting will be given preference.
