Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, monitor responses, and document outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor for adverse events, and adjust plans as needed.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to maintain patient safety and quality of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and timely escalation when needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility per state regulations)
- ICU or critical care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and provide care in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and supervisory skills
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment in Sonora, CA
