Mainframe Cobol DeveloperLocation: 100% Remote in PST Time Zone (Only Same Time Zone Candidate Workable) Note: This is Part Time Requirement - 4hrs/day Client: State of Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Experience: 12+yrs Visa: GC, USC, GCEAD, H4EAD Duration: 12+ monthsThe agency requires a mainframe developer who has at least three (3) years of experience with the operations and maintenance of financial systems.Technical Skills:DB2COBOLJava (Mainframe)Easytrieve (connecting to DB2)IBM CICS z/OSPanValetREXX on MainframeSchema Changes for DB2 z/OSSort, SyncSort, ICETOOLThe Contractor shall:Perform software system development related to enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades.Provide software and system support for break/fix and bug repair.Develop maintenance documentation for coding and break/fix resolution.Provide quality assurance and testing of code.Provide knowledge transfer to appropriate personnel related to system functions and changes implemented.Description: Computer systems specialists provide technical guidance for the development and troubleshooting of computer systems. They identify system data, hardware or software components required to meet user needs. They also develop guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams.
