NPI Materials Intern

Responsibilities Manage the materials development room for Controls Engineering: receive, inventory, track, kit, and label development materials for engineering builds, testing, and prototyping. Manage NPI part material storage and movement: ship, label, and track all material for product development. Support material movement, storage, and tracking to the new lab location (Summer 2026). Support and maintain NPI material data through Excel queries, pivot tables, and database creations. Place orders and inventory engineering experimental material to support New Product Introduction (NPI). Manage part movement between NPI build sites to support scheduled builds. Required Qualifications Currently enrolled as a full‑time student at a four‑year college. Pursuing a degree in Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business. Effective communicator at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications High attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to change. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem‑solving skills. Compensation & Benefits Hourly range: $19.00 – $24.00 (based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities). Benefits: 401(k), medical, dental and vision care – available day one.
