Welder Position

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Welder role in Marion, OH. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Pay: $20+ per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding operations in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards and company specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.

Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.

Inspect welds to ensure structural soundness and compliance with quality standards.

Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces prior to welding.

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Handle materials, including loading and unloading components as needed.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Accurately document work performed and report any issues or defects.

Promptly report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications:

AWS D1.1 Certification MANDATORY

High school diploma or equivalent; prior welding or fabrication experience preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to read blueprints and understand welding symbols.

Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
