Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests—spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, diagnose errors, and ensure all lab instruments are regularly maintained and calibrated.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Meticulously document all procedural details, assist in training new staff or students, and uphold the lab's quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Acquisition of ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of starting employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your tenure.
