Job Functions / Responsibilities The successful candidate should possess the ability to: Prioritize multiple demands and distribute resources accordingly. Demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills, and an understanding of manufacturing operations. Effectively interact with employees, peers, and all levels of management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred. 4+ years of relevant experience required, experience in Manufacturing preferred. Application of problem solving tools such as fish bone, 5 why, root cause pareto diagrams. Ability to lead by example and drive key metrics in safety, on-time delivery, shortage reduction, cost. Knowledge and experience in lean material flow to a production line. Engage in effective communication and organizational skills. Completion of; or currently engaged in a four year college degree in business or related field preferred. Eight+ years of previous supervisory experience, or demonstrated leadership ability. Experience with Supply Chain and Logistics tools and techniques and understanding of how the parts work together as a system. Understanding of general materials metrics, materials flow, and inventory measures. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development.
