Branch Sales Manager

Location: Houston, TX | Full-Time | In Person with over 60 years of success, Continental Western Corporation is a leading U.S. supplier of packaging and cordage products. Our extensive product line includes strapping, rope, twine, stretch film, tape, gloves and safety supplies, janitorial products, and more. With 10 branches nationwide, we continue to grow and are seeking a high-performing Branch Sales Manager: to lead and expand our Houston, TX location. About the Role: The Branch Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the sales team to ensure profitability and efficiency. This role is ideal for a hands-on, sales-focused leader who thrives on building strong customer relationships, developing high-performing teams, and delivering measurable results. You will have full ownership of branch sales performance, with the authority to shape strategy, coach your team, and directly impact the success of the business. Key Responsibilities: Drive branch sales performance, revenue growth, and market expansion Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed targets Develop and execute strategic sales plans and initiatives Build and maintain strong customer relationships to increase retention and account growth Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met Recruit, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing sales culture Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment Ideal Candidate Profile: Highly driven, competitive, and results-oriented sales leader Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and hold teams accountable Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and continuous improvement Excellent relationship builder with strong negotiation and closing skills Organized, strategic thinker who can balance big-picture goals with daily execution High integrity, professionalism, and sound decision-making abilities Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of sales leadership and/or supervisory experience Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Experience in packaging, wholesale distribution, or a related industry preferred Demonstrated success in leading, developing, and retaining high-performing sales teams Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities Compensation & Benefits: Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives.
