Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Southeast Family YMCA - Louisville, KY 40218Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $82,000.00 - $88,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Administration and Executive LeadershipThe YMCA of Greater Louisville is seeking an experienced, community-focused leader to serve as Executive Director of a full-service YMCA branch with approximately $2.7 million in annual operations The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the branch, including financial management, membership and program growth, staff development, fundraising, community partnerships, facility operations, and safety. This position leads a multidisciplinary team and works closely with volunteers, donors, community partners, and the Branch Advisory Board to advance the YMCA’s mission. Key Responsibilities Lead daily branch operations and implement annual goals aligned with the YMCA’s strategic priorities. Develop and manage an annual operating budget of approximately $2.5 million. Monitor revenue, expenses, membership, program participation, staffing, and overall branch performance. Recruit, supervise, coach, and develop branch leadership and staff. Drive membership growth, retention, engagement, and customer service. Ensure high-quality programs that respond to community needs. Provide executive oversight of one indoor swimming pool and aquatics operations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, child-protection, risk-management, and YMCA standards. Oversee facility maintenance, emergency preparedness, and capital improvement needs. Lead annual fundraising efforts and cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors. The annual fundraising goal is $80,000 Build strong partnerships with schools, businesses, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and community groups.
