Fiscal Assistant – San Bernardino County Immediate vacancies for Fiscal Assistants to support existing accounting processes. Duties include verifying, auditing, classifying, processing, tracking, posting, and reconciling payroll, accounts payable, travel claims, tax matters, billings, payments, reimbursements, accounts receivable, public assistance grants, and trust accounts. Responsibilities Perform verification, auditing, and classification of fiscal transactions. Process and track payroll, accounts payable, travel claims, tax matters, billings, payments, reimbursements, accounts receivable, public assistance grants and trust accounts. Post and reconcile general ledger entries and related reports. Qualifications Option 1 – Experience : 12 months of full‑time equivalent experience performing fiscal activities where primary duty involved arithmetic calculation. Up to 6 months of experience may be substituted by 6 semester units of completed college accounting coursework. Option 2 – Education : Completed associate degree in mathematics, accounting/finance, or a closely related field. Conditions of Employment Background investigation including fingerprinting, credit check, and/or medical exam. No visa sponsorship available.
