About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Community Engagement to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key leader, responsible for bridging brand strategy, organizational positioning, program growth, and external engagement. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's services are effectively positioned for various stakeholders, including families, donors, professionals, and referral partners. The VP will lead the implementation of a comprehensive communication and marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, participation in programming, and visibility, while also supporting the growth of the donor base. Essential functions include leading a small team, designing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies, overseeing audience segmentation, and guiding messaging that resonates across diverse audiences. The role also involves community engagement, identifying key external audiences, and establishing strategic partnerships. Candidates for the Vice President position should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive experience in marketing, communications, brand strategy, or related fields, with a strong preference for those with a background in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a proven track record of using data and insights to guide marketing decisions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional, and committed to teamwork, with a belief that collaboration deepens impact. Experience in nonprofit branding, proficiency in social media, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential. The VP will also be expected to be a champion for the company's vision, mission, values, and strategic direction, and to be adept at managing and communicating significant changes to both staff and external stakeholders.
