Hiring Department: UICOMP-Psychiatry Location: Peoria, IL USA Requisition ID: 1041696 Posting Close Date: 9/16/2026 Salary: $280,000 to $325,000 per year Position Overview The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks a child and adolescent psychiatrist with a strong interest in graduate medical education to expand services and strengthen educational training for general psychiatry residents and medical students. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $280,000 to $325,000 per year. Duties & Responsibilities Direct patient care & expansion of child and adolescent psychiatric services Supervision and teaching of general psychiatry residents and medical students Function as a University faculty member, performing duties appropriate to academic rank and position Support the development of an ACGME-accredited child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship, administer program operations, teaching, scholarly activity, recruitment, selection, faculty development, orientation, evaluation, and promotion Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
