Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; call center hours are 7:00 AM-7:00 PM. Start times may range from 7:30 AM-9:30 AM. Hybrid schedule: Remote Monday and Friday; onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

About The Company:


Addison Group is seeking an Associate Customer Service Representative to join a well-established distribution organization. This position is part of a customer-focused team that works closely with customers, sales representatives, and internal departments to ensure orders are handled accurately and efficiently.

Job Description:


This is a great opportunity for a customer service professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, phone-based environment. The Associate Customer Service Representative will handle incoming customer requests, assist with orders, provide updates on shipments, and help resolve account or product-related issues. The position is contract-to-hire with the opportunity to transition into a long-term role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a steady volume of incoming customer calls and provide professional, solutions-oriented assistance
• Input new orders and make updates to existing orders using an ERP system
• Research order and shipment information and communicate status updates to customers
• Assist customers with questions related to returns, billing, credits, invoices, and account information
• Serve as an initial resource for general product and order inquiries
• Investigate order issues and work toward timely resolutions
• Prepare and process customer documentation, including credit and debit memos
• Assist with occasional credit card transactions and other account-related requests
• Maintain accurate customer records and information across multiple systems
• Consistently meet department service and productivity expectations
• Provide additional administrative and customer support as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience within a call center or high-volume phone environment
• Strong retail customer service experience with significant phone interaction will also be considered
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, or another product-focused environment is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Teams
• Previous CRM or ERP experience is a plus
• SAP experience is highly desirable
• Experience using chat-based customer support tools is a plus
• Strong computer skills with the ability to work between multiple applications
