About Brist Mfg

Brist Mfg is a full-service custom apparel and merchandise company specializing in custom product development, domestic manufacturing, decoration, and fulfillment. Our resort wear division we partner with leading resorts, destinations, hospitality groups, and brands to develop thoughtful, retail-driven apparel programs.

We are expanding our Resort & Destination division and are looking for experienced multi-line sales representatives to represent Brist Mfg as a private-label apparel, t-shirt and headwear line within their existing territories.

Position Overview

This opportunity is specifically designed for established multi-line representatives who already call on resort, destination, outdoor, golf, hospitality, and specialty retail accounts.

We are not looking for someone starting a territory from scratch. Ideal representatives have an existing book of business and established buyer relationships where Brist can complement the other lines they currently represent.

You'll introduce Brist's two core programs (custom made easy (private label apparel) and domestic quick turn apparel) to your existing accounts, develop new opportunities within your territory, and work closely with our internal creative, product development, and account management teams to bring programs to life.

What You'll Sell

Brist offers a broad private-label assortment designed specifically for the resort and destination market, including:

• Custom headwear
• Tees & fleece
• Premium lifestyle apparel
• All overprint party shirts
• Plush
• Accessories
• Fully custom cut-and-sew products
• Seasonal capsules and collections
• Custom decoration, including embroidery, screen print, patches, appliqué, and specialty techniques

Our internal creative and product development teams support representatives with custom artwork, product development, presentations, sampling, and account-specific assortments.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Brist Mfg within an established geographic territory
• Introduce Brist to existing resort, destination, hospitality, outdoor, and specialty retail accounts
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key decision-makers
• Present seasonal collections, private-label programs, and custom product capabilities
• Identify opportunities to expand Brist's business within existing accounts
• Prospect for additional qualified accounts within the territory
• Work closely with Brist's internal creative and product development teams to build customer-specific assortments
• Communicate customer feedback, market trends, and product opportunities to our team
• Attend relevant trade shows, market appointments, and customer meetings
• Maintain visibility into active opportunities, forecasts, and account activity

Who We're Looking For

Existing industry relationships are essential for this role.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 3+ years of experience as an independent or multi-line sales representative
• An established book of business within the resort and destination channel
• Existing relationships with resort retail buyers, destination retailers, hospitality groups, outdoor retailers, or similar accounts
• Experience selling apparel, headwear, accessories, gifts, or complementary product categories
• A proven track record of growing territory revenue
• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to independently manage a territory and travel regularly to customer accounts
• Existing lines that complement rather than directly compete with Brist Mfg
• Experience selling private-label or custom apparel is highly preferred but not required.

Compensation

Independent 1099 / commission-based sales opportunity.

This is an Independent Contractor role. Compensation and territory structure will be discussed based on experience, existing account relationships, and territory potential.
