RN - PACU

Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

8-hour shifts with variable day shifts based on surgical schedule and unit needs. Typical start times include 0900, 1000, or 1330.

As a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during the perioperative phase. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Provide direct patient care in the surgical unit.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate timely surgeries and postoperative care.

Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and recovery processes.

Utilize Epic charting system for accurate documentation and patient tracking.

Previous charge experience preferred.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or critical care setting required.

Must hold current CA RN license.

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.

Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.

Travel experience is required.
