Merchant Services and Payment Processing

Job Summary

Swipeify Payments is seeking confident, energetic, and results-driven Outbound Lead Generation Specialists to join our growing sales organization.

In this role, you will contact business owners nationwide, introduce Swipeify’s merchant services and payment processing solutions, identify qualified opportunities, and schedule appointments or complete warm transfers to our sales professionals.

This is not a closing position. Your job is to start meaningful conversations, uncover merchant needs, generate interest, and create a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay of $25.00 per hour
• 10% performance-based bonus opportunity

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to business owners and decision-makers across the United States
• Introduce Swipeify’s merchant services, payment processing, and business payment solutions
• Identify merchants who may be paying excessive processing fees or using outdated payment technology
• Ask effective discovery questions about current providers, processing volume, rates, equipment, contracts, funding, and service concerns
• Generate interest in credit card processing, POS systems, payment terminals, ecommerce processing, virtual terminals, mobile payments, ACH services, payment links, cash discount programs, and related solutions
• Request merchant processing statements for complimentary rate and savings analyses
• Qualify prospects according to company standards
• Schedule appointments and complete warm transfers to sales professionals
• Maintain a consistent pipeline through disciplined outreach and follow-up
• Accurately document calls, contact information, conversations, follow-up dates, and lead status in the company CRM
• Follow approved scripts while maintaining a natural, professional, and engaging conversation
• Handle common objections and establish credibility with business owners
• Achieve established expectations for call activity, conversations, qualified leads, appointments, warm transfers, and statement collection
• Collaborate with sales leadership to improve messaging, targeting, and lead quality
• Represent Swipeify with professionalism, honesty, accuracy, and respect

Qualifications

• Previous experience in outbound calling, telemarketing, lead generation, appointment setting, call centers, inside sales, or B2B sales is preferred
• Merchant services, payment processing, POS system, financial technology, telecommunications, payroll, or business-services experience is highly desirable
• Confident and professional telephone presence
• Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls throughout the workday
• Ability to communicate effectively with business owners and decision-makers
• Strong listening, discovery, objection-handling, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to follow a structured call process without sounding scripted
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Experience using CRM systems, dialers, and sales automation platforms is preferred
• Accurate data-entry and documentation skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, coachable, and performance-driven
• Commitment to ethical sales practices and an excellent merchant experience

You will be expected to maintain consistent call activity while prioritizing lead quality, accurate documentation, professional communication, and meaningful sales opportunities.
