This advanced manufacturer specializes in producing steel products for the automotive industry. Due to the growth in their business, they are looking to hire a Production Supervisor for 1st shift. This is a position for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. This individual will enjoy the utmost job stability, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to have success and career growth.

As a Manufacturing Supervisor you will be responsible for:

Oversee, mentor, and train plant associates on 1st shift
Achieve production target by producing quality products daily
Strive to achieve the highest product quality possible, resolve any issues in a timely manner
Immediately address production issues related to breakdowns, scrap, quality, process control
Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement and six sigma events
Ensure safety on the production floor

Qualifications for the Manufacturing Supervisor role include:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in similar supervisory position
Prior work experience in a high-speed/high-volume manufacturing environment
Excellent leadership ability, great communication skills
Prior lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or six sigma experience
