Registered Nurse (RN) - Multi-Unit Critical Care

Schedule

Full-Time 3x12 day shift (7a-7:30p), with holiday and every other weekend rotations. Includes 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multi-unit team, providing critical care across various departments including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. The ideal candidate should be cross-trained and demonstrate the ability to float between units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in diverse units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting relevant data to provide appropriate care.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols in all clinical settings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed by New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in MedSurg, Tele, or Critical Care units.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
