About the Position

Job Title: Float Pool RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Critical Care Duration: 18 Shift: Full-Time 3x12 day shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1-year experience in MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care Units License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the American Heart Association, NIHSS Must-Have: BSN ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire CPI certification within 90 days of hire Description: Position requires cross-training for multiple units including MedSurg, ICU, and Emergency Room. Must be comfortable floating to various departments. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Exhibits effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills. Computer literacy is required. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with professional standards in patient care. Must possess knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan. Ability to assess patient data and identify care needs specific to age.
