LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a corporation in Scottsdale, AZ that is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a Monday through Friday Full-Time onsite position $24.00-$28.00 per hour depending on prior experience.

The Accounts Payable specialist is responsible for processing high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and supporting the accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable functions. Full-cycle accounts payable experience is highly preferred, from invoice receipt and validation through payment, reconciliation, and month-end support. The role requires hands-on experience with high-volume invoice processing, three-way matching, GL coding, vendor management, payment processing, reconciliations, and issue resolution-responsibilities consistent with internal full-cycle AP guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• High-volume processing of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Three way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Review invoices for proper approval, coding, and compliance
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries
• Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
• 2+ years of recent accounts payable experience
• Strong data entry and 10-Key skills with a high level of accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with accounting or ERP system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
