Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for aligning people strategies with business objectives to support operational excellence, organizational growth, and employee engagement. This role provides strategic and hands‑on leadership across employee relations, leadership development, talent management, workforce planning, and HR operations for a dynamic metal fabrication manufacturing facility. Responsibilities: Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and leadership team on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and culture. Develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives, employee engagement, retention, and operational performance. Utilize HR metrics and workforce insights to identify trends and recommend solutions. Partner with plant leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities at all levels of the organization. Coach and develop supervisors and managers on performance management, employee engagement, communication, conflict resolution, and talent development. Drive succession planning and talent development initiatives to build internal leadership pipelines. Lead employee relations strategies that promote a positive, respectful, and high‑performing workplace culture. Investigate and resolve employee concerns, policy issues, and workplace conflicts in a fair and consistent manner. Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices. Lead, coach, and develop a team of three HR professionals. Establish clear priorities, accountability, and development plans to build a highly effective HR function. Foster a customer‑service‑focused HR team that supports employees and leaders across the plant. Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning processes. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated experience in employee relations, leadership coaching, and organizational development. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
