About the Role:
Sign Effectz, Inc. is looking for a skilled Fabricator to join our team in Milwaukee, WI! This is an exciting opportunity to bring creative signage to life through hands-on craftsmanship and precision manufacturing. Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and finish a variety of commercial and custom signage products
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to meet project specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, routers, welders, and bending tools
- Work with materials such as aluminum, steel, acrylic, PVC, and other sign substrates
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet company and client standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Collaborate with production team members to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Prior experience in sign fabrication, metal fabrication, or a related manufacturing trade
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Experience with welding (MIG/TIG), metal forming, or routing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks in a shop environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
