Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Float

MSTELE Float RN Needed

This is a dedicated float position with no holiday RTO requests. We need a float RN starting ASAP for 13 weeks, working 3x12 shifts on weekdays, up to 2 weekends per month. The RN will float between intermediate, stepdown, and med-surg units as patient volume requires, including holidays within the contract. Candidates must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays and must be very flexible in relation to floating. Blocked schedule requests will be considered if requested at the time of submission. BLS, ACLS, PALS required; ratios typically 1:5-6 depending on patient acuity (this will vary dependent upon unit floated to). Two years of experience required, with 2 years of travel experience required. EMR - EPIC (recent experience/proficiency is required). Must hold an active NC or multistate license. All white or all navy scrubs. Local rules: no candidates will be accepted if they reside less than 40 miles from the facility. Driver's license must be provided for address verification prior to any offer acceptance.
