Commercial CoordinatorThe Commercial Coordinator serves as a central point of coordination between sales, engineering, operations, marketing, and customers to ensure commercial opportunities progress smoothly from initial inquiry through order execution. This role acts as the "glue" that keeps projects, customer communications, and internal processes aligned while supporting business development initiatives, sales operations, and customer satisfaction. This is a Direct Hire role located in Itasca, IL. Responsibilities include:Coordinating commercial activities across sales, engineering, operations, and customer teams to ensure opportunities, projects, and orders move efficiently through each stage of the business process.Maintaining and updating Salesforce CRM records, tracking customer opportunities, monitoring project status, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the sales cycle.Supporting outside and inside sales teams by preparing proposals, managing customer documentation, assisting with order administration, and providing sales support as needed.Facilitating communication between sales and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements, quotations, and project specifications are accurately transferred for execution and production planning.Managing the order release process by coordinating the transition of customer purchase orders into engineering and production workflows, ensuring timely project initiation.Organizing and coordinating trade shows, industry conferences, customer events, and marketing campaigns while partnering with marketing teams to support lead generation and business development efforts.Tracking outbound sales activities, assisting with prospect follow-up, and supporting customer outreach initiatives to help generate new business opportunities.Preparing reports, monitoring sales metrics, and maintaining organized records to provide visibility into project progress, customer activity, and commercial performance.Providing light quotation support, processing quote requests, and assisting with quotation administration to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.Serving as a key communication resource for customers and internal stakeholders, helping resolve issues, coordinate priorities, and maintain a high level of customer service.Qualifications include:3+ years of experience in commercial coordination, sales support, project coordination, customer service, or a related business operations role.Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities.Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or technical environments is preferred.Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, conferences, and customer-related events.Job Details:Direct Hire100% onsitePay $70k-$80k depending on experienceBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
