Accountant Position
A non-profit organization located near downtown LA is looking for an Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis. The Accountant will be responsible for account/bank reconciliation, general ledger management, assisting with audit planning and month/year-end, and journal entry preparation. The Accountant will also analyze balance sheets and project expense management. The Accountant will assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is required.
- At least four years of general accounting and audit experience (i.e., general ledger management, journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, month-end assistance, etc.).
- Must have non-profit industry experience.
- Must have very good time management and communication skills.
- Strong MS Office knowledge is required.
- Up to $44/hr.
