Freight Broker

ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Freight Broker to support growth for this recently founded Logistics Company. As a member of the Logistics Team, the Freight Broker performs scheduling and quoting shipments with our customers, booking loads with carriers, and tracking shipments from time of booking through delivery. S(he) will foster relationships with both our customers and carriers to increase satisfaction and grow our business. This is a hybrid position of remote and in office work. Qualifications Ready to learn attitude, coachability on our current processes and customers Interpersonal and communication skills Detail Oriented, Organized Flexibility and adaptability in fast paced environment Ability to use MS Excel and Transportation Related Computer programs Job Functions Receive and promptly acknowledge customer load requests Enter loads into Transportation Management Software (TMS) Source and assign carriers to loads Track carriers from load assignment through load delivery Update TMS system as needed Communicate load updates with customers including pickup and delivery ETAs Notify customers of any issues or delays and work towards quick resolution Identify carrier networks and work to match with freight solutions Provide quotes to customers in a timely fashion Assist with soliciting freight from new and existing customers Participate in and help drive meeting margins and revenue goals #J-18808-Ljbffr Educated Solutions Corp
