We're proud to be recognized by Crain's, Inc. 5000, Glassdoor, Parity.org and Built In on their lists of best places to work.About the RoleOrchard Title is looking for a dynamic Escrow Officer who has a current book of business, to manage the closing process and provide an exceptional experience for customers for both their own deals and Orchard Brokerage closings. The ideal candidate is a seasoned real estate professional with expert knowledge of residential closings. If you are used to working with high-stakes, time-sensitive deals and managing your own pipeline, then we want to hear from you! This is a full time role that will report into the Escrow Manager for your market. We are open to any of the following locations for this role: Phoenix, Denver, Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio.What You'll Do Here:Actively seek new business by attending sales meetings, real estate events, escrow, and management meetings and interact with lending and banking to increase capture rate.Prepare closing disclosures, escrow agreements and all other settlement documents according to lender and/or buyer/seller instructionsClearly communicate and collaborate with cross-functional departments in Customer Experience, Brokerage, Contract Operations, and Funding to promptly troubleshoot and resolve any issues in the Title process to avoid delaysObtain clear title by curing title defects, satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals, and verifying proper vestingBalance all financials with corresponding invoices and tax balancesProvide correct lender closing instructions and oversee the receipt and proper disbursement of funds; ensure all outstanding checks and escrowed funds are properly managedMaintain compliance with Orchard Title policies and procedures in accordance with governing laws, regulations, regulatory agencies and company standardsWe'd Love to Hear From You if You Have:3+ years of experience as an Licensed Escrow Officer with their own book of business. Expected to bring in a minimum of 5 closings a month from their book of business.Exceptional verbal and written customer service skills that help form positive relationships both internally and externallyConfidence working with technologies (Google Suite) and speciality software (e.g. Qualia) Will train if needed.Working knowledge of state-level escrow rules and regulations enforced by Dept of InsuranceA team player mentality who subscribes to the concept of "Team Before Self"Passion for innovation and are comfortable with changeOrganization skills and are exceptionally detail-orientedOrchard is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
