Make a significant impact by supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic, inclusive learning environment. Two rewarding contract openings are available, working with students in either K-3 or grades 4-6. This role centers on fostering academic growth and confidence for children with diverse needs, offering both inclusion and pull-out support in classrooms committed to student success. The caseload is carefully managed, not exceeding 30 students, to ensure personalized and effective instruction.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Mild/Moderate K-12 teaching license required; Mod/Severe credential holders will also be considered
• Experience with inclusion models and/or pull-out special education services preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for individualized student support
• Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide differentiated instruction within inclusive classroom settings and in small pull-out groups
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address student-specific learning needs
• Work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive educational strategies
• Manage and document student progress, assessments, and accommodations/modifications
• Foster positive, constructive relationships to inspire student growth academically and socially

This full-time contract position spans 37.5 hours weekly, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the academic year on May 21st, 2027.
