This role will partner closely with corporate counsel by assisting with contract administration, corporate governance, entity management, legal research, compliance initiatives, litigation support, and general legal operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-state corporate environment.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, revise, and manage a variety of legal documents and commercial agreements for attorney review.Assist with contract administration, including preparing first drafts, redlines, summaries, and maintaining contract records.Coordinate entity formations, foreign qualifications, annual reports, registered agent matters, and other corporate governance filings across multiple jurisdictions.Maintain corporate records, including organizational documents, resolutions, operating agreements, bylaws, and corporate minute books.Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, memoranda, and supporting documentation for internal legal matters.Assist with litigation support by managing subpoenas, document requests, legal holds, and discovery-related materials.Review and organize documentation related to claims, disputes, regulatory matters, and internal investigations.Prepare draft correspondence and legal communications for attorney review.Coordinate with internal departments, outside counsel, government agencies, and third-party vendors on legal matters.Track legal deadlines, maintain matter management systems, and ensure accurate organization of legal files and records.Support compliance initiatives by maintaining documentation, tracking regulatory filings, and assisting with internal policies and procedures.Assist with special legal projects and provide general administrative support to the legal department as needed.Required QualificationsParalegal certificate, Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant legal experience.Minimum of 3 years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably supporting an in-house legal department or corporate legal team.Experience with corporate governance, entity management, and multi-state corporate filings.Experience reviewing, drafting, and organizing commercial contracts and other legal documents.Strong understanding of legal terminology, document preparation, and corporate legal processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.High level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting a multi-state or national organization.Familiarity with litigation support, document management systems, contract lifecycle management software, or entity management platforms.Experience coordinating with outside counsel and regulatory agencies.Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, or compliance initiatives.Knowledge of employment, commercial, real estate, or general corporate law.Key AttributesSelf-starter who takes ownership of tasks and follows matters through to completion.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Able to identify issues, not just process paperwork.Practical, responsive, and business-minded.Comfortable working independently while knowing when to escalate.Professional, discreet, and dependable.What Success Looks LikeLegal documents are accurate, organized, and prepared for efficient attorney review.Corporate records and governance filings are maintained accurately and submitted on time.Contracts and legal matters are managed proactively with strong attention to deadlines.Litigation support, compliance initiatives, and legal requests are handled efficiently and professionally.Internal clients and legal counsel receive timely, organized, and dependable support that contributes to the effectiveness of the legal department.The Ways You Can Benefit:Medical, Dental, Vision401K (with match)PTOLife Insurance, Short-term disabilityFree Crunch Fitness membershipDiscounted Personal Training SessionsExciting team environmentGrowth opportunity in a rapidly growing companyIf you're ready to stop looking for a job and begin following your passion, then now is the time to contact Crunch TODAY!About CR FitnessCR Fitness is a leading franchisee of Crunch Fitness.
