Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery

This position offers a 12-hour day shift with every other weekend required. Guaranteed hours are set at 36 hours per week.

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care during the labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery phases for patients. Effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for mothers and newborns will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health.
• Provide support and education to families before, during, and after delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician's orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery nursing (Level 1 experience required).
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications.
• Valid nursing license in the state of Michigan.
