Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues in conjunction with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
• Providing patients and their families with education regarding prevention, wellness, and ongoing disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies per your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic condition management
• Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, complete patient care
• Maintaining precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Washington State
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
