AR/Billing Specialist – Mainly Hybrid with One Day On-site Weekly (Wednesday) to Start – Salary is up to $60,000 – Permanent Direct Hire One of our clients, an entertainment industry innovator that has doubled in size over the past few years, is seeking an AR/Billing Specialist due to growth. The company is expected to double in revenue in the next few years. The salary is up to $60,000 depending on experience. This role is hybrid, with one day on-site (every Wednesday) to start, and may extend to two days on-site after the allotted time. Located near the Spence Lane area of Nashville. Overview of the AR/Billing Specialist: Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including timely and accurate customer invoicing, collections activities, and account reconciliation to ensure prompt payment and minimize delinquency. Research, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies, customer disputes, short payments, and account adjustments while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive client relationships. Monitor customer accounts and job profitability, ensuring margins meet expected targets and making informed decisions regarding payment plans, invoice credits, write-offs, and bad debt designation. Analyze collection trends and root causes, recommend corrective actions, and identify opportunities to improve billing, collection, and accounting processes. Support accounting operations by preparing daily and monthly reports, maintaining accurate account records, and serving as a backup resource for billing and collections team members. Qualifications of AR/Billing Specialist: Must have AR and billing experience and be able to work on-site once a week on Wednesdays near Spence Lane in Nashville.
