Business Analyst, Information Technology

The Business Analyst, Information Technology, is key to enhancing our organizational efficiency and achieving business goals through strategic technology integration. This role involves understanding and aligning business operations and models with technological advancements. Responsibilities include analyzing needs, workflows, and technological systems, and making recommendations to the CIO. The analyst will research software solutions to improve efficiency, estimate project costs and timelines, and ensure project deliverables are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between IT and business partners, translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Document and manage business and technical requirements, process models, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with internal and external developers to build or customize solutions, ensuring technology meets business needs.
• Oversee project scope, milestones, and team management to deliver projects on time, within budget, and scope.
• Experience in vendor management, creating Statements of Work (SOWs), and reviewing proposals.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in a technical Business Analyst role and managing IT projects, such as ERP implementations.
• Bachelor's degree in MIS/CIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, business analysis techniques, and tools like Great Plains, SSRS, Power BI, SharePoint, and MS Office.
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, and ITIL are preferred.
• Availability for occasional weekend and off-hour work for maintenance and production releases.
• This role requires onsite work and is ideal for someone with a strong blend of business orientation and technical expertise.
