Job Details Job Location: FLA – Tampa Area Command – Tampa, FL 33602 Position Type: Full Time Regular Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Salary Range: $23.22 – $26.12 Hourly Job Shift: Day Job Category: Case Management Schedule/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (37.5 hours a week) Key Responsibilities Interviews applicants to determine eligibility for program enrollment based on established facility guidelines and requirements; conduct needs assessment, obtain pertinent information; refers applicants to other agencies if not appropriate for program. Develops intake and case plans for client; instructs clients in completing necessary paperwork including goals and/or budget forms; completes orientation check‑off form and obtains release of information forms when appropriate; completes social history on new clients each week. Meets regularly with clients to discuss and evaluate their progress, feelings, impressions, changes, and personal growth/development; prepares accurate and up‑to‑date records documenting the same. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to think clearly and quickly in order to maintain control of client caseload. Ability to work multiple cases effectively and efficiently at the same time without becoming frustrated or disorganized. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25lbs) 5-10% of work time. Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with weather or discomforts associated with noise, dirt, and the like; work requires performance of duties in a social services environment where exposure to communicable and infectious diseases are possible. What We Are Looking For In You Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or a related field AND Three years progressively responsible experience providing direct case management social services including assessing clients’ needs and developing individual, comprehensive, long‑term action plans for recovery utilizing a wide variety of resources OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
