About the Role:

As a Welder, you will play a critical role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise in various welding techniques will be essential to join metal parts accurately according to blueprints and specifications. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to interpret technical drawings and deliver precise welds that meet project requirements. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a welder with proficiency in arc, TIG, MIG, and flux core welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and brazing techniques.
• Knowledge of safety standards and proper use of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized welding program or institution (e.g., AWS Certified Welder).
• Experience working with stainless steel and other specialized metals.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Basic understanding of welding metallurgy and inspection methods.
• Ability to perform brazing and other advanced joining techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Perform arc welding, TIG, MIG, and flux core welding on a variety of metals including stainless steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment to position heavy metal components safely.
• Conduct metal fabrication tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts prior to welding.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with industry standards, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure all tools are in proper working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
