Role Description

The Senior CNC Machinist is responsible for leading CNC programming, setup, and machining operations in an AS9100-compliant manufacturing environment supporting aerospace and U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This position requires advanced technical expertise, strict adherence to quality and documentation requirements, and the ability to mentor junior machinists while ensuring production, safety, and quality objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Machine Operation and Machining skills with experience operating CNC and conventional machines
• Competency in Milling and handling precision tools and equipment
• Strong understanding of Quality Control practices and procedures
• Knowledge of Machinery setup and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience in aerospace or related industries is advantageous
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are preferred
