JOB DESCRIPTION

Position : Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Pay Range : $24.00-$27.00 PER HR

Reporting To : Recruiting Manager

Work Type : On-site

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the day-to-day recruiting and onboarding functions of the Human Resources department. This position assists with pre-employment paperwork, reference checks, applicant tracking system updates, new hire system entries, orientation coordination, and follow-up communication with new employees. This role helps ensure a smooth candidate and new hire experience while maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance requirements, and providing administrative support to the recruiting team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting support, talent acquisition, onboarding, or a related administrative role.
2. High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
3. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
4. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
5. Working knowledge of basic Human Resources and recruiting processes, including applicant tracking, pre-employment documentation, onboarding, and new hire file requirements.
6. Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, email, and data entry systems; experience with applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms preferred.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, trackers, and employee information.
8. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
9. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with applicants, new hires, employees, and internal team members.
10. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Administers pre-employment paperwork
2. Conduct reference checks
3. Accurately maintains workflows in our applicant tracking system and ATS tracker.
4. Inputs employees into all the various systems throughout the organization (ie. ADP, Kantime, MyUnity etc).
5. Conducts follow-up calls with new employees at three-week and three-month intervals to assess their onboarding experience.
6. Conducts new hire orientation.
7. Backup to Recruiter.
8. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 75% of the time).
• Close vision requirements due to computer work.
• Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).
