Position Summary:

Oversees monitors and coordinates Production Team Members activities and ensure best practices are being followed throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Motivates and ensures his/her team is meeting departmental goals and objectives, including maintaining high quality, safety, and productivity standards.

• Build strong relationships with other department leaders and associates. Interact with other supervisors to establish maximum utilization of resources and to improve efficiencies.

• Implement processes that improve key performance indicators (i.e., quality, safety, cycle time).

• Provide feedback to Plant Supervisor and Business Manager on ways to increase the efficiencies and effectiveness of the production process.

• Arranges and coordinates safety meetings to ensure safety standards are understood and met.

• Operate machinery when needed

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.

• Previous experience leading others

• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

• Ability to lift moderately heavy objects up to 30 pounds.

• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.

• Demonstrated customer service, people, leadership, and organization skills with track record of achieving positive business results.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
