Quality Inspector Job Details
Schedule : Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Location : Miamisburg, OH
Quality Inspector Requirements/Qualifications

• Experience interpreting customer drawings and specifications.
  
• Knowledge of manufacturing inspection procedures.
  
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and drawing interpretation.
  
• Ability to use micrometers, dial indicators, optical comparators, height gages, snap gages, gage blocks, and pins.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills.
  
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  
• Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  
• Ability to frequently use hands and arms to reach and perform inspection tasks.
  
• Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  
• Ability to see up close and have accurate depth perception.
  

About the Quality Inspector Role
As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:

• Interpret customer drawings and specifications to determine inspection requirements.
  
• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify parts meet customer requirements.
  
• Complete inspection checklists and accurately record inspection data.
  
• Electronically file inspection records and upload required documentation.
  
• Review quality deviations with Quality Engineering, Customer Support, the Quality Supervisor, and Plant Manager as needed.
  
• Help identify and resolve quality issues before products reach customers.
  
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify part conformance.
  
• Inspect parts using micrometers, dial indicators, optical comparators, height gages, snap gages, gage blocks, and pins.
  
• Follow work orders, job instructions, and company procedures.
  
• Maintain established quality and productivity standards.
  
• Follow all company safety requirements.
