Job Description Required Education High School Diploma or equivalent Required Skills Comfortable spending most of the workday making outbound phone calls Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Problem-solving skills Time management skills Microsoft Office proficiency including: o Outlook o Word o Excel o Adobe Acrobat Ability to remain seated for extended periods while making calls Preferred Skills Medical records retrieval experience Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience Job Duties Calling medical facilities and copy services to retrieve medical records Documenting detailed information regarding status updates Obtaining applicant authorization with a wet signature Requesting medical records Responding to email inquiries regarding files Typical Day Make outbound calls to hospitals, physician offices, and medical copy services Follow up on outstanding medical record requests Update file status with detailed documentation Obtain required applicant authorizations Process incoming email requests and inquiries Manage multiple files while meeting productivity expectations
