Sr. Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $130,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with executives to generate accurate and timely financial reports.
• Conduct monthly financial statement reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze budget variances across multiple financial plans and departments.
• Manage subcontractor processes to ensure compliance with insurance and payment procedures.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to indirect cost allocation methodologies.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems.
• Communicate effectively with professionals at all organizational levels.
• Work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience in a professional setting.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Bring experience in the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to support financial decisions.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of financial models.
• Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
