Mixing OperatorThe Mixing Operator plays a key role in food manufacturing by accurately preparing ingredients, operating mixing and cooking equipment, and ensuring each batch meets strict quality and food safety standards. This position works closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and measure ingredients according to established recipes and production specifications.Operate kettles, mixers, cookers, pumps, and other kitchen processing equipment safely and efficiently.Monitor cooking temperatures, viscosity, and overall batch quality throughout the production process.Blend, mix, and transfer caramel and other confectionery products to production lines.Record batch information, production data, and quality check results accurately and in a timely manner.Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting to support continuous production.Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures at all times.Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas according to company standards.Communicate effectively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient operations.Assist with inventory management and ingredient staging to support production schedules.Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety policies and guidelines.This is a Permanent position based out of Niles, IL. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
