About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Philanthropy to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a senior system-level philanthropy executive with a proven track record in professional philanthropy, fundraising, and systems development. This role is pivotal in leading the Foundation's major gift fundraising enterprise, with a focus on strategic and operational leadership. The VP will be responsible for the performance of regional and system-level fundraising, managing a portfolio of principal and transformational gift prospects, and partnering with executive, clinical, and volunteer leaders to advance the company's philanthropic priorities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 10 years' of experience in philanthropy, and a clear understanding of major gift program infrastructure. A high level of integrity, exceptional communication, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders are essential. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Philanthropy include strategic fundraising leadership, team management, and performance accountability. The role requires a leader who can translate enterprise fundraising strategy into clear goals and action plans, and who is adept at using CRM systems and fundraising data to manage performance. The candidate should have a strong background in securing major and principal gifts, and experience in healthcare philanthropy or a similar mission-driven nonprofit environment is preferred. The position demands a professional with a high level of integrity, judgment, and discretion, who can foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and shared success. The VP will also be expected to travel as needed and must be committed to the mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible.
